Managing Director Steve Haydon took ownership of RSM Domestic Appliances in 2000 after a successful career in manufacturing production, sales and management. Since acquiring the business, Steve has increased the staff from 5 to 20 and added the Ashtead outlet to the original Knaphill store. They have also, more recently built an extension to the Knaphill Store to manage the property and repairs side of the business.

In 2008, it became evident that our high level of service in both sales and repairs combined with our large stock holding and delivery speed, gave us the ability to successfully service the need within the corporate sector especially with the demanding requirements of tenanted properties.

With that in mind, the decision was made to employ a dedicated Commercial Account Manager and in early in 2009, after a career as a mortgage advisor for a Letting Agency, Mark Bateman joined RSM. Mark now manages some 30 letting agencies and business accounts, purely focusing on expanding the corporate sales and delivering the most complete customer service experience in the area.

The rest of the team is made up of 7 shop managers and sales staff, 6 appliance repair engineers, 3 delivery drivers and 2 service and repair booking co-ordinators.

As part of increasing the awareness of RSM within the business community, Steve actively participates in business networking within BNI, FSB and Woking Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the Knaphill Residents Association which enables RSM to contribute and support the local community.
